In this guide, I’ll show you exactly how I did it, from identifying accounts to scraping and messaging followers.
🔧 Tools You’ll Need
Grok — for finding high-signal accounts
XReacher — for scraping and DM outreach
A browser (I recommend using the web version of Grok)
🧠 Step 1: Find High-Value Accounts Using Grok’s Deep Search
1. Log in to Grok:
Visit Grok.com , or access it from X and click “Deep Search.”
I prefer using the web interface directly for full control.
2. Create a Deep Search Prompt:
Here's the exact prompt I use 👇
“List 20 Twitter (X) accounts of founders of big software companies. These accounts should have between 50,000 and 1 million followers and average at least 10K views per post.”
Adjust the niche as per your needs: e.g., coaches, creators, marketers, etc.
The follower range ensures you get enough volume while staying within X’s scraping limit of 1M.
3. Grok now searches the web for accounts matching your criteria.
This takes about 2–3 minutes.
Once done, Grok will return a list of 20+ target accounts.
🔍 Step 2: Manually Verify Accounts
Before scraping, Verify each account:
1. Check the username on X.
2. Confirm:
Follower count (within range)
Post engagement (avg. 10K views/post)
Relevance to your audience
Example:
@stevejobsfan – Co-founder of Apple, ~600K followers, solid engagement ✅
@drewhouston – Dropbox founder, ~208K followers ✅
Repeat this for 5–10 quality accounts. You’ll now have your seed list.
🗂 Step 3: Add Verified Accounts to XReacher
Log in to XReacher (free account is fine)
Go to your dashboard → Create a new campaign
Under Lead List, click:
Add Leads → Scrape New Leads
Paste in the usernames you verified earlier.
This starts the scraping process. It will now extract all their followers.
🧹 Step 4: Filter Your Leads
To avoid junk data, use these filters:
Bio Keywords: "founder", "CEO", "business owner", etc.
Exclude Locations: Remove countries not relevant to your market
Skip fields like gender, website, or follower count unless needed
Click Start Scraping → Name your lead list (e.g., Founders_SaaS) → Confirm
This will start pulling filtered leads in real time.
⏳ Step 5: Monitor Progress
Within minutes, you’ll see leads coming in:
1,700... 2,500... 10,000+ (depending on follower counts)
You can refresh the dashboard to check status
Once done, you can either download the list or use it right inside XReacher.
💬 Step 6: Launch DM Outreach on X (Optional)
XReacher doesn’t just scrape—it also sends DMs.
Here’s how:
Go to your campaign
Click Outreach → Select your scraped lead list
Add a message script:
Hey {first_name}, came across your profile—really impressed by what you're building at {company}. Mind if I share something I think might help?
Choose your X account (connect it or use a burner)
Set DM limit per day (max 450/day)
Hit Launch Campaign and it will send messages on autopilot daily.

Go to your scraped list
Click Download List
You’ll get a CSV with:
